WARWICK – (March 17) On Friday, March 17, Schervier Pavilion residents and staff who call themselves Irish or were just Irish for the day, assembled in the dining room of the facility to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with music, song and refreshments.
In addition to special St. Patrick's Day refreshments, residents were treated to a wide angle TV recording of that day's St. Patrick Day Parade in New York City. They also enjoyed live entertainment by popular singer and musician Marty Koppel whose lively music included both Irish and American favorites.
"We hosted this and other events to give our residents an opportunity to share a holiday tradition," said Schervier Pavilion Director of Recreation Kari Call. "We're happy that our residents were able to enjoy this St. Patrick's Day celebration."
