Portrait Unveiling for Beloved Warwick Community Physician

A portrait unveiling for Jerome Quint, M.D. was held on Tuesday, May 30 at Mount Alverno Center in Warwick. More than 100 friends, colleagues, community members and family attended the ceremony. Speakers included Mary Leahy, MD, CEO of Bon Secours Charity Health System, Mark Madis, MD, Medical Director of Orange County, Francis Winski, MD, President of the St. Anthony Community Hospital Medical Staff, George Beach, Superintendent of the New York State Police, Terry Quint and Dr. Quint's son and two daughters. Dr. Quint was a trusted physician who served the St. Anthony Hospital community as a surgeon for more than 40 years. He became a dear friend to patients and colleagues, and he was a mentor who inspired everyone he knew.

He was chief of surgery and then chief of staff at St. Anthony's, and later, he became chairman of the hospital Foundation Board of Directors, which he served with the same commitment and vigor that he demonstrated in everything he touched.
