Thanksgiving Message from the Administrator

I want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving - Thanksgiving Day has come to mean many things to many people. For some it marks the beginning of the holiday season; others look at it as a time to be with our family and friends to feast on turkey and watch football.

But, what I find most significant about Thanksgiving is that it is that one day each year when Americans, as a nation and as individuals take pause to give thanks for the blessings we have been given: our families and friends, our values, our well-being and our faith in God and in one another – for these are truly blessings.

With Thanksgiving and the holiday season approaching, I once again took time to consider all the blessings that have been bestowed on me this past year and the many gifts for which I am truly grateful. Among the gifts I most appreciate is the gift of being part of such a remarkable team of professionals. Working with all of you everyday has been and remains a blessing for which I am truly grateful.

This has been an exciting year for the Warwick Health Care Campus – it’s a year that saw a dream become a reality as we began construction on our new SDS addition; a year that has seen tremendous growth – growth in services, new technology, and new leadership. All gifts for which I give I am truly grateful.

These gifts and the many successes we have experienced this past year are your successes. For this I personally thank each of you … the staff, physicians, and volunteers of the Warwick Health Care Campus, for your commitment and unwavering support; your hard work and your steadfast belief in our purpose.

I also thank you for making quality service to our patients, residents and community your top priority; for your collaboration and support; for your unselfish dedication to those we serve; for always going above and beyond; and , for your generosity of spirit; and for living our values every day.

To our Sponsors, Boards of Directors and Contributors, I thank you for hearing our voices, for sharing your incredible range of insights and talents with us and for your generosity. It’s because of you that we fulfill our Mission. You not only enrich our lives, you shore up our faith in our future.
As we give thanks on this special holiday, let us also remember our young men and women serving in the military who will be spending this Thanksgiving dealing with dealing with the pain and loneliness of a holiday away from friends and family. Keep them in your prayers and in your hearts.

Many of you will be working on Thanksgiving, sacrificing your time with family and friends to care for those entrusted to our care. Your reassuring presence and compassionate care will make this difficult time more pleasant for them. On their behalf I thank you for the joy and warmth you will give them. May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving – God Bless you All!
